Step 1: Tap on the Phone app icon on the home screen to open the Phone app. The Phone app has a green phone receiver icon.
Step 2: When the Phone app opens, tap on the keypad icon at the bottom to bring up the number keypad.
Step 3: Use the number keypad to enter the phone number you want to call. Tap the correct numbers on the keypad.
Step 4: After entering the full phone number, tap the green Call button at the bottom of the keypad to start the call. The green Call button has a white phone receiver icon on it.
Step 5: Hold the iPhone up to your ear to have a conversation. Speak clearly into the bottom of the phone.
Step 6: When the call is finished, tap the red End button at the bottom of the screen to hang up. The red End button has a white phone handset icon on it.
